The Nurse Bao Drop came from trying to balance Bao’s whale identity with the more stylized, slightly sultry nurse direction coming from the artwork, and building a consistent visual language that could hold both ideas together. I leaned into soft water-like flow, baby blue and pink contrasts, and repeating curved forms pulled from the illustration so everything across the collection felt connected rather than piece-specific. Those wing-like shapes and fluid linework became the main anchor for how graphics were placed across garments, whether on sleeves, backs, or leg panels, creating a shared rhythm across the drop while still letting each piece feel distinct. The goal was to keep the focus on the illustration while using those recurring design elements to tie everything into one cohesive system.
