The Snake Charmer drop gave me the opportunity to explore a few ideas I’d been wanting to work with. While designing the reversible haori, I kept coming back to anime like Demon Slayer, where outerwear becomes an extension of character identity. I wanted both sides to feel distinct on their own, with one kept minimal through white line art pulled directly from the illustration, and the other leaning into bold snake skin textures. While exploring color directions, a coworker showed me the Tiffany Blue Nike collaboration that featured black snakeskin, which ultimately shaped the overall color palette for the drop. The cobra plush carried the same design language, translating the diamond pattern from the artwork into a more expressive character form. I also added an internal pocket for weighted filling, giving it a more interactive feel and making it something that could be both displayed and physically handled in different ways.
