Wild Style was a really fun opportunity to lean into a theme and see how far I could take it. The artwork already had a strong "safari explorer" direction, but I wanted the merch to feel like more than just apparel with safari graphics on it. The leopard print became the foundation for the collection, but the real challenge was figuring out how to make something like that appealing to an audience that's mostly male. That's what pushed me toward utility-inspired apparel. Instead of designing around the print, I started thinking about the kinds of clothing you'd actually wear if you were out exploring a safari—cargo jackets, convertible pants, packable gear, and functional details that felt authentic to the theme. Once that direction clicked, everything else started falling into place. The leopard print naturally found its way throughout the collection, from the apparel and accessories to the shaker cup, where I used it as a camouflage pattern to blend the artwork and branding into the design.
